The Cocoon was first introduced in 2004 for the 3rd-generation iPod by STM and distributed in Australia by Tech Pacific.[2][3] The Cocoon brand was expanded to include other mobile devices and was launched internationally in January 2009 through Cocoon Innovations under the management of DMC Capital Funding.[4]
