This event was held in San Francisco in 1984.
The City and County of San Francisco, also known as SF, is a major municipal area about 40 miles (65 km) north of the Cupertino headquarters of Apple Inc. in California. San Francisco is home to many technology companies, such as the Wikimedia Foundation.

As of 2019, San Francisco is the 4th most populous city in the state of California and the 15th most populous city in the United States.[1] As of 2020, there are 3 Apple retail stores in San Francisco.[2]
History[]
The older Brooks Hall underground convention center hosted the first Macworld Conference & Expo in 1985 and the first Apple World Conference in 1986. [3][4] The newer Moscone Center hosted latter conferences, such as Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference from 2003 to 2016.[5]
