- 1989 - The Macintosh IIci and the Macintosh Portable (Apple's first portable computer) are released. Also released to support them is System 6.0.4. Public Folder is released by Claris as an early Macintosh file sharing utility for System 6. Apple Computer and Microsoft announce a joint effort to develop an alternative to PostScript, which would lead to TrueType.
- 2005 - Apple Expo 2005 commences in Paris, France.
- 2012 - The 32 and 64 GB versions of the iPhone 4S are discontinued.
- 2013 - The iPhone 5S and 5C are released. Also released to the public is iOS 7.0.1 with support for Touch ID.
