Snake.io, also marketed as Snake.io - Fun Online Slither, is a variation of the classic snake video game genre that was developed by Amelos Interactive and published by Kooapps for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, as well as Android.
Releases[]
Snake.io - Fun Snake .io Games was released for Android on April 15, 2016. Snake.io - Fun Online Slither was released for iOS through the Apple App Store on the following April 21st. The mobile apps are free with in-app ads, along with a paid option to turn off the ads.[1][2] As of May 2023, they have been downloaded over 200 million times.[3] A web browser-based version is also available.
Apple Arcade version[]
A variant for Apple Arcade was announced on May 4, 2023 and was released on the same day under the title Snake.io+. This version has no ads.[4]

As of May 2023, the minimum requirements were:
- iOS 10 or later (13.0 for Apple Arcade)
- iPadOS 13.0 or later (for Apple Arcade)
- macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later with Apple Silicon
