File:Software Dispatch introduction

Software Dispatch was a disk-based app store that was distributed with CD-ROM-equiped Macintosh Performa models in the mid 1990s.

The CD-ROM contained 70 "great applications" that could be unlocked with a code that could be purchased through a toll-free telephone call or a faxed order form.
