The Republic of Korea (Korean: 대한민국, Daehan Minguk) 🇰🇷, commonly known as South Korea, is a country in East Asia. The capital and largest city is Seoul. South Korea is home to many consumer electronics companies, such as LG and Samsung.

First Apple Store in Korea reopens on April 18, 2020.

The first Apple retail store in South Korea was opened on January 27, 2018 in the Garosu-gil fashion district of Seoul.[2] In early 2020, the store was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but was reopened that same year on April 18th.[3] On April 9, 2022, the 3rd and largest Apple store was opened at Center Point Myeoungdong within the Myeoung-dong shopping district of Seoul.[4] The 4th location, Apple Jamsil, was opened at Lotte World Mall on September 24, 2022.[5] The 5th store was opened in the Gangnam district on March 31, 2023.[6] The 6th store was opened at Starfield Hanam on December 9, 2023.[7] The 7th and most recent store was opened in the Hongdae neighboorhood of Seoul on January 20, 2024.[8]
