Eddsworld WikitvEddsworld is an animated comedy produced using Adobe Flash software, and shared on sites like YouTube and Newgrounds, as well as Eddsworld.co.uk, created by Edd Gould. It stars three main characters, Edd, Tom and Matt, all based on real-life friends and voiced by their real-life counterparts. Other minor characters make appearances in different animations, or may just be a guest star for one episode only. Previously, Tord was also a main character, however his real-life counterpart and voice actor left the group in 2008 after Moving Targets was released to pursue his ambitions individually, and so the character left on the screen at the beginning of the feature-length animation 25ft Under the Seat. Unfortunately after a six-year long battle with cancer, Edd Gould passed away on Sunday 25th March 2012. Edd left behind one half of a yet to be released animation, with the second half due to be an animation collab. Tom Ridgewell, the voice actor and real-life counterpart of Tom in the animations, explained the future of Eddsworld on a Vokle broadcast. Eddsworld Wiki is a wiki created to document the history of Eddsworld as a group, the individual characters of Eddsworld, and each animation that has been released under the 'Eddsworld' umbrella. It also provides a place for fans of the group to post blogs and share the latest updates from Eddsworld, and Edd, Tom and Matt individually. American Girl WikibooksAmerican Girl is a brand of 18" dolls (originally independent, now owned by Mattel) that initially based characters on pre-teen-girls living in various noted periods of American history. The company's flagship line, the Historical Characters, are multiple characters spanning time periods such as turn-of-the-century, World War II, the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, the Great Depression, and Native America. The characters, representing nine-and ten year-old girls, live through variant times in American history and provide a child's perspective of significant events that helped to shape the United States. The line later expanded to include modern dolls, limited edition characters that focus on a topic over the course of a year, baby dolls and twins, and characters from other countries, and is currently is a top selling, high-profile brand. A lot of American Girl websites are run by a small circle of collectors who choose to only focus solely on the items and dolls alone, expecting community membership to access full information or contribute to detailed data. The American Girl Wiki rejects the idea that a person with an interest in the brand must always be part of the community. The A*G Wiki chooses to give a semi-professional knowledge on all the aspects of the company--not just what has been available to buy, but the various characters and stories that make up the backbone of the company. The wiki is an open resource to not only use, but contribute to and prides itself on being an up-to-date fan-driven resource.
