The Kingdom of Thailand (Thai: ราชอาณาจักรไทย, Ratcha-anachak Thai), formerly known as Siam and presently known as Thailand, is a country in Southeast Asia. Its capital and largest city is Bangkok.
Statistics
The land area of Thailand is 510,890 km2. As of 2020, the population is estimated to be 68,977,400, making it the 20th most populous country in the world. [1]
Apple in Thailand
The first Apple retail store in Thailand was opened on November 10, 2018 on the shore of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.[2] In early 2020, the store was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but reopened that same year on June 1st.[3] A second store was constructed at the CentralWorld shopping complex in Bangkok and held its grand opening on July 31, 2020.[4][5][6]
