The USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter is a dongle from Apple that allows a Mac or iPad Pro with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port to be connected to an SVGA monitor, projector, or VGA-capable television.

Features

The dongle is similar to the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter, but with a DE-15 VGA connector in place of the other model's HDMI port. The VGA port can output up to 1080p resolution but does not support sound. It also has a USB-C port for charging as well as a USB-A port that supports up to USB 3.1 devices.[1]
