Unsanity LLC was a privately held American company that was established in May 2000. It was noted for developing "haxies" for Mac OS X.

History[]

The company aimed to provide high, commercial-quality software at affordable prices. Usability and a unique concept and feeling were also key aspects. However in October 2007, Application Enhancer, an API that was developed by Unsanity and used by Logitech's mouse drivers, gained notoriety for botching upgrades to Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Though Unsanity updated the API for compatibility, Apple did not support it and many unsuspecting users with Logitech mice were left with unbootable systems.[1][2] The company stopped shipping new product at the end of 2011 and the website was defunct by 2013.
