Views control panel

The Views control panel contains many options which mainly deal with how windows appear in the Finder.

Specific options

• Font for views: The specific font and font size (9 points to 24 points by pop-up menu, and up to 36 points by manual setting) for the status bar and icon labels on every Finder window can be displayed.

• Icon Views: Both a straight grid and a more irregular staggered grid can be selected, and an option can be set where icons always snap to grid.

• List Views: The size of the icon (mini, small and regular-sized, i.e. 32x32 pixels) can be selected, and options can be set to calculate folder sizes and show disk info in header. Additionally, the size, kind, label, date, version and any eventual comments for an icon can be shown in list views.
