watchOS 10 is the tenth major release of watchOS for the Apple Watch series developed and distributed by Apple Inc.

Product history[]

watchOS 10 is derived from iOS 17; both were announced on June 5 at the 2023 Worldwide Developers Conference and were released on September 18, 2022.[1]

Supported devices[]

watchOS 10 added support for new models, while maintaining support for all existing models with 64-bit processors. An iPhone XR, XS or later running at least iOS 17 is also required to support the following models:
