watchOS 11 is the eleventh major release of watchOS for the Apple Watch series, developed by Apple to succeed watchOS 10.

Product history[]

watchOS 11 is derived from iOS 18; both were announced on June 10 at the 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference.[1] It was officially released on September 16, 2024.

Supported devices[]

watchOS 11 dropped support for the Apple Watch Series 4, Series 5, and 1st-generation SE. An iPhone XR, XS or later running at least iOS 18 is also required to support the following models:

* Support ended for Apple Watch Series 4, 5, and 1st-generation SE.
